ERP User Training Guide

ERP training must be practical, department-wise and based on actual company workflows. One generic training session is not enough for construction, manufacturing or real estate teams.

Train by role, not by module name

Store users need material receipt and issue practice, accounts users need voucher and GST reports, production users need BOM and work order entries, and management needs dashboards. Role-wise training makes ERP easier to adopt.

Use live business examples

Training should use real item names, vendors, projects, machines, work orders and invoices. Users understand faster when the screen matches their daily work instead of generic demo data.

Create internal champions

Every department should have one trained user who can support colleagues and coordinate with the ERP vendor. This reduces dependency and improves confidence during go-live.

Repeat training after go-live

Users understand ERP better after they start entering actual transactions. A second training round after two to three weeks is often more useful than a long session before go-live.
